Need some help with a class project
What are some stereotypes you've heard about German people? I need to come up with a few and prove/disprove them. Please try to keep this serious and to the Germans here, please don't be offended.

Most humiliating experience from my childhood I can think of was I think when I was really young my father, born in germany, and his parents tried to get me to wear lederhosen. I can quite remember if they managed to get me in them or not. But I still hate lederhosen to this day.

They have no sense of humour (a side note to that they actually have laughing lessons in some parts of germany, one was featured in a programme on them a while back)
They are still trying to take over europe but this time by politics rather than war
