freeBASIC
The creators have recently announced that they're redoing it for the gcc backend for implementing OOP. Any chance that it might be reconfigured to compile DC bin files? (I'm probably asking for too much
)

I don't know if GCC could work that way. If Freebasic first translates to C-code which GCC compiles after that, it might be possible to get GGC to compile it for DC. I don't really know this stuff, Im just guessing. But if Freebasic could compile DC binaries, it would be a good opportunity, since its a great basic-language.
