Damn this game was so horrible, sound, music, characters, graphics were just giant squares and gameplay was just utter shiznitizlle, anyone else hate this game ?

No way, that game rawks. Too bad it's so dark you can only play it at night

You can turn on bilinear filtering in the options. That doesn't change anything and the game continues being crap, but... graphics improve a little bit.

The graphics are so bad because it's a PS1 port. Not a good one, at that.
I thought the game was ok, though, perhaps a tad too repetitive.
The first Nightmare Creatures was actually pretty good though.
