dreamcast nes emu self bootable

i jus downloaded megaman collections for dreamcast off of winmx and i burned it to a cd and it was self bootable but it was a rom of megman 1-6. i've been looking for how to make roms selfbootable but i cant find anything everything i see is the emulator has to be on one disc and the roms on another can anyone tell me how to make the rom selfbootable for dc unester like the megaman collections was?oh and when it loaded it showed nester and the copyright words in red letters. then went to megaman 1 title screen.
