Where would you like DreamCon to Be Held?

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

Where would you like DreamCon to Be Held?

Post by MetaFox »

The first stop of the Dream Con 2006 is tommorrow. While I'm gone, I thought that I'd guage interest to see where everyone would like the convention to attend.

Washington DC sure shows nice ;)

I won't vote though, because it's irrelevant to me where it will be helt.

Yeah. I'd like to hold a European DreamCon one day, but it's not in the cards now.

Though I'll support anyone who wants to hold a Euro DreamCon on their own.

I'd be willing to assist with something in the San Francisco or San Jose area, but I don't know of any there this year. The Classic Gaming Expo for '06 was cancelled, so they could pool resources for a larger event next year.

Heh, some kind of DC gaming tournament would be nice. Soul Calibur, Fur Fighters, F355 Challenge. Maybe I'll finally meet some real challenging opponents :D

Wichita. It's right in the center of the United States. Low traffic, plenty of places to stay/eat, and no flesh-eating zombies. Perfect.

Washington, cause it's closest to me =P.

Also, so far DreamCon 06 at magfest is sucking. Then again, i'm here alone, there are under 100 people here and i havn't slept in 2 days and spent over 16 hours driving.

DC wouldn't be bad for me, as it's something I could drive back and forth to each day (about 2 hours away). However, I like the idea of keeping only one or two stops on the DreamCon train, and making them real quality stops. MagFest ended up being pretty cool, and could be even cooler next year, now that we know how it works.

Hi. My name is Friend of Sonic, and I have an incredible story to tell. Through the triumphants and the losses, I've journeyed for what seemed like a millenia...
My vote is the con to be held in Dallas.
I have no story.
