Morrowind for me. I bet the original game fairly legit (ended up just killing vivic though). I got so tired of playing it that I never did get into the expansions (well game of the year version on xbox). I wasn't that impressed with the expansions though.

With the exception of games that i got sick of playing after very little time and whatnot, any game that I've spent considerable time playing has to be something I really like. Don't seem to get sick of 'um.

Super Smash Bros Melee.

I still love the multiplayer but unlocking the levels and characters through the single player game killed it for me.

That was instantly the first thing that came into my mind as well. I got about 70 hours into that thing and just couldn't handle any more. It was one of the best PSX RPG's, but it was just too long.

I actually enjoy playing rpgs more than any other genre, so I don't see how some folks get bored with them...

And I still love the games, but Eternal Darkness; and Metroid Prime 2..

I liked the game...I just got bored after awhile. Plus, aside from switching between light and dark worlds, its very much like the original, imo.

Perhaps I should look into this... over 70 hours of gameplay? :o
Hardly. Try over 100. I just got to 70 hours and gave up because I hadn't even reached the second disc yet. As long as you don't care that the graphics are extremely dated, this is a wonderful RPG. One of my favorites, in fact, if it wasn't so damn long.

There are plenty of RPGs that can last that long if you try to get everything. My FFVIII save file showed 100 hours by the time I reached the end of the game because I spent so much time getting everyones' ultimate weapons and lvling them up to 100.

I've gotten tired of Super Smash Bros. Melee. I loved that game to death, but once I unlocked everything, I felt like playing the game was pointless. That goes for most 1 player games as well. THPS, Amplitude, Kingdom Hearts, Animal Crossing, all MGS games, and Katamari Damacy are the same way for me.

Yeah, but Dragon Warrior VII is different. My characters were at level 30 around the 70 hour mark, and that was about average. I didn't have a guide, so I was just trying to go through the game the first time. I didn't really do any side quests or anything. Just beating the game itself, even if you are trying to blow through it, will take you at least 100 hours. Tack on sidequests, and I simply cannot see how this game could be completed in under 150 hours.

Phantasy Star Online (offline) was a real bore for me. So repetitive.
