Unconfirmed:
Star Wars: Demolition

It has up to four player multi and its quite good to. Like Vigilante but with better gfx and less buggy. Nice co-op mode in two-player as well.

Also, Heavy Metal Geomatrix does not have a 4 player mode, only 2.

Checking back to R2R:R2, yes, there is a similar TOURNAMENT mode, in which up to 8 players can be tracked through the tournament. Obviously, only two can play at a time though. There are probably a few other games like this, and would probably warrant their own category.

brings back many memories! never forget the xmas me and my mate got our dc's! MANY weekends of 6 or so of us crowded round any tv and dc we could find. the main ones i can remember that took up many hours were toy commander, chu chu rocket, revolt and nba (can't remember what one). awesome
