xbox 360's noone telling us how many they got

I have called 10 stores and all of them are saying they cant tell me how many they are getting. Why? I dont want to stand in line all night if they dont have any.

well Best Buy isn't taking reserves so just go there theyll have some.

The number the stores get keeps changing. I preorded 2 back in May and I'm only getting 1 on launch but oh well.

Hrmm as far as I know:

My local best buy is getting 3 premium, and 3 core systems for a total of 6.

My local Wal-Mart is getting 4 premium, and 4 core systems for a total of 8.

My local Target is getting 2 premium, and 6 core systems for a total of 8.

They will have them, but a VERY limited supply of them. Quite ridiculous, get there very early if you want one.... or just cut in line

Either that, or that want you to believe they'll be in short supply to increase demand.

I still haven't decided whether or not I'm gonna try and get one. I'll just turn around and put it on ebay and make some $$. I don't need a gaming system bad enough to spend $300 or $400.

I am definatly waiting to see what is coming out of the other 2 companies before buying this (i'll probrobly get one the day HALO 3 comes out).... but for this particular console i don't see the point of getting it at release...there's not really any good release games (with the exception of quake 4) and it's not really much of an upgrade...

The local Gamestop is getting 50 of them, but last I checked almost all the reserves were already gone. I wonder how much more profit someone could make by putting one on ebay.

I was totally hyped to get a 360 like a month ago. But then they postponed Oblivion...

so yeah if you think there aren't any good launch titles and want to wait to buy one it makes sense.

Me and my bro preordered ours back in May(which is pretty much what you have to do nowadays to get a console) before they even had a launch schedule or anything so I'll just have to tough it out and wait for good games to come.

next year E3 is gonna be crazy.

I was too scared to preorder it after all the negative buzz and the fact that the goldeneye/perfect dark team left a long time ago to form Free Radical.

Why bother with variety when you put out games that will guarantee good sales?

my local gamestop has a list you can put yourself on for the next list of pre orders. i think i heard something as a worst case senerio of being april till they are easily available. wtf?

Thats my problem though. Im not sure these games do guarantee good sales. Theres too many genre doubles and sequels

and nothing truly next-gen yet

But I don't know. I sure as hell hope it sells well (especially in Japan)
