I have a Nokia 3120.
Tiny, Java-capable, Polyphonic MIDI ringtones (think NES music ) and is not a flip-phone.
Perfectly content with it. (Although Hasney has me looking at that Nokia N90 since he posted that link. That is freakin sweet. I may break down and get one even though I generally dislike flip phones. Don't ask me why, just don't like 'em.
Its pretty cool, small, sleek, and different. It's the only phone on the market that has speech to text capabilities for text messages which is pretty cool, but not practical when u need to send a message quietly
I'd get used to flip-phones. They will be prertty much the only style available soon. In Japan the only models you can get these days are flip-phones or the type where one panel slides up instead of being hinged. They're packing so much inot phone's these days that we seem to have gone past making them tiny, and now they're getting bigger again
As for the Nokia N91 that looks great but...its Symbian again. That was my biggest fault with the Nokia 6600, I just dont like that OS at all. I can't explain why, it just doesnt feel right.

Nice.
My current one is Golbez, Clad in the Dark from Final Fantasy IV.

Also looks a bit like a next generation tricorder

I don't see why people are so hyped on the razr. It's kind of a shitty phone, emits a weird buzzing noise, has little to no memory and lots of other faults. A good friend just bought one and yeah, they're as crappy as most people say. I hear a ton of people complain that they suck, not to mention a ton of dumb people actually break a lot of these phones which is more or less to do with the end user... but still.
I kind of loathe my nokia 6101. I thought it'd be a lot cooler but it's not that great. Series 40 and not even symbian, no bluetooth, kind of slow and I can't program worth shit on it. This sucks. I'm going to call my wireless provider because they promised a gift certificate from future shop and I haven't seen it, the dealer was a boner and gave the wrong msidsn, and didn't change my rate plan until a few days later so I got HUGE prorated charges. Those were thankfully fixed but I'm going to call in stating that I have too many audio problems and see what I can do in the way of exchanging for a nokia 6600, because that'll hold me over until they release the N91's here.
uh, i bought a phone for 30 dollars that does what i want it to and more. i can play tetris on it, which is nice...and it has sports scores/basic net surfing if i need it. not a bad deal imo.
