Need the internal PS2 A/V pin assignments

Post by FunkyPoopMonkey »

I've got a monster s-video cable for PS2. Long story short, it's connector is screwed up, so I want to manually solder the wires to the correct spots on the ps2 motherboard. I plan on ripping the A/V jack off of the PS2 mobo, and soldering the monster cable's wires directly to it. I just need to know the pin assignments.

Again I don't want the external A/V pin assignments of the PS2. I need the internal ones.

Oh so we can talk about saturn, dreamcast, playstation 1, etc, but not playstation 2? Oh wait, yes we can. Search results show 173 instances of "playstation 2". Fancy that.

I'm hoping Riva found his answer, when he made a similar thread:

That's an EXTERNAL pinout. NOT INTERNAL. You didn't read the topic, did you?

Well I broke it. Thanks a bunch. Oh well, I hate PS2 anyways. Got someone to buy it for parts for $35. Fair enough.

The external is the same as the internal. All it takes is some trial and error
