Probably because the station pays for the shipment when it arrives, thus not making price go into effect until the next shipment comes. They probably got more in when all the other stations got theirs, too.ccb_v2 wrote:Gas station here said it was out of all but 93 oct. until other gas stations raised their prices by $0.30, then they had 87 and 89 all of a sudden...

i remember that too...not quite 78cent's but under 1.00
anyway...highest gas price i saw around here was 3.69 for reg, lowest (wich was 2 miles away if that from the 3.69) was 3.19...and that was .30 cent's cheaper then the next cheapest...
and right after getting gas...an advert on the radio came accross that on sunday, the local indian reservation is going to have gas on sale for .99 cents...there's going to be suv's and cars lined up for miles to get that deal..

Wrote that this morning, and drove down the same road today and prices went up. Missed the first station but station 2 went up to $3.41 and 3 went up to $3.28DCFan2004 wrote:It's real varried here. On one road alone there are three gas stations and the prices for regular were $3.69, $3.25, and $2.99. Thank god I only fill up my tank every 2 or 3 weeks.

Musta been unusually cheap gas? or maybe jerks just being themselves.DarkLord wrote:The last time i was geting gas with someone a fight was about to start over some gas and when you where geting gas the pumps where so slow it took a long time to fill up.
Anyway, they keep saying that the cost of gas/gallon might reach up to $5/gallon; how in the blue hell are those fancy pants with suvs gonna fill up their cars?!

R they afraid you're gonna drive off without paying? cause most gas stations have cameras and many states threaten to take away your driving rights if found guilty of stealing gas.SuperMegatron wrote:Doesnt new jersey also have a law that doesnt allow you to pump your own gas?Xylene wrote:New Jersey refuses to lift the tax becuase of how much money the state will lose for "road repair".
BTW, it cost $30 to fill up my car the other day so I might start walking everywhere. Might end up losing weight, so it will work out well.
