"What's a liger?" "It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic."

Lines join in faint discord and the Stormwatch brews
. . a concert of Kings as the white sea snaps
. . at the heels of a soft prayer
. . whispered

Really hard for me to name a single one but...
Mantids are up there.
I also like wolves quite a bit.

I don't know if chinchillas would be my favorite species, but:
I'm a lone wolf looking for trouble.

I second that with wolves. I got to visit a rescue place once and got to spend some time in a cage with them... semi-tame as they are used to people somewhat, but if you make any sudden moves, they run off. Their hair is really coarse.
Second to that would be a sibrian husky, though I realize they have as much in common on a genetic level with a wolf as a toy poodle does.

Snow Leopard:
(Only the snow leopard, I have no interest in normal leopards whatsoever)
I also like wolves, husky dogs and siberian tigers.

Cabit, a cross between a cat and a rabit.
