I've played Bang Gunship Elite on the PC, not DC, and it does look great..., but as far as I remember, it gets repeditive very quickly.

Starlancer is great fun. Missions are never what they seem to be. Loads of unexpected happenings and twists make it interesting. Has neat special effects and a nice skybox (or if it is sphere...). The only bad thing with is is the ugly textures...
I have tried to play it online, but there is never anyone there. :(

I remember having problems running Bang! Gunship Elite on my Dreamcast and getting rid of it. From what I was actually able to see and play, the game was beautiful and seemed to have pretty good controls. I'll be giving it another go in the near future.

Nah, Ikaruga is better, the best graphics on DC, perfect music score, rock solid gameplay, but is painfully hard, so hard its almost impossible for a normal (not super human japanese player) person. In my personal taste they go like this:
- Ikaruga
- Border Down (actually thats the one i play the most ;) )
- Psyvariar 2
- Zero Gunner
- Shikigami no Shiro 2
- Gunbird 2
- Chaos Field / Trizeal
- Mars Matrix

Then again its my opinion man!

Allright nice! Well, at first i wasnt really into shooters like Ikaruga but i've tried it to extend the DC's lifespan and i like it a lot. So Ikaruga is one of my favorites now, but im still having a hard time on the Easy mode :P

Thanks for your list... i'm going to check out some of those games as i only own one of them :)

I completely forgot about Bangai-O.... its one of the most addictive games on DC, and its a lot easier than ikaruga, well, actually its nothing like ikaruga.

Treasure is over-rated. I find most of their games to be all hype and no real substance to back it up.
Very sexy hero, omg

Playability is the key factor in Treasure games. No 50 page game manuals, no complicated controls or storylines, just plain games but with a extremelly careful learning curve. I love Treasure since I played Gunstar Heroes in my Megadrive (Sega Genesis in USA).
