Sonic R rocked. They should port the PC version so console players can get all the extra options that Saturn players didn't get the first time around.Safety in Nimbus wrote:It's about time they put in Sonic CD. Hopefully games like Sonic 3d Blast and Sonic-R won't be included.
As for 3D Blast.... I agree.

Why not? There aren't really that many other Sonic games they could put in a collection. We've already done the GG games (Sonic Adventure DX, I think) and the main MegaDrive series. That leaves Sonic CD, the Saturn games (Sonic 3D and Sonic-R), the arcade games, and a couple of spin-off games (Sonic Spinball, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine). I can't think of any others.Hopefully games like Sonic 3d Blast and Sonic-R won't be included.

Woot! I love being able to play sonic cd on my cube; it was one of my favorite sonic games, cause of the whole time travel concept, and the sound was awesome...
btw: Sonic R, imo, was the worst Sonic game hands down!!!
And I also believe that Sega should stop making compilation games and focus on newer stuff....

Sonic R is very good - if you don't expect it to play like a platformer. It looks nice, and has an awesome soundtrack composed by Richard Jacques and sung by TJ Davis.

Id rather have Sonic 3D Blast then that Sonic R, that game was just a racing game with Sonic charactors, bleh.
Sonic CD was good stuff, I almost didn't sell my Sega CD because I knew Id miss that game. The only thing I thought really sucked about Sonic 3D blast was the fact it had no save support. That game was just too damn long to try and go through without passwords or save support.

Almost right but what you meant to say was 'if you've had a lobotomy'Stormwatch wrote:Sonic R is very good - if you don't expect it to play like a platformer.
As for Sonic cD finally being done this would be the Sonic CD they said was too hard to emulate, of course we all knew they were lying for the Xbox sonic collection at least as many of us were already playing it in a megadrive emu anyway
theres no-one else to blameThe Prisoner - Makes NGE's ending look almost intelligible.
