i didnt notice the music much, i was being amazed by some very cool tech demos and such

sure its fake, but it would be very very cool if nintendo pulled this rabit out of its hat, even if i have a couple of doubts about that way of controlling

This video made me wonder: why doesn't anyone make a virtual reality game machine? I've played in a Virtuality arcade once, a looong time ago, and that was awesome - just imagine what could be done with today's technology!

The old reasoning against it was that the hardware was too bulky & expensive & gave you a headache if used too much I think as well. These days unless the finished product ended up lookin like a modern console/pc game I doubt all that many would bother with it, a sad reflection on all the graphics whores in the world today, & the price would still be a bit high most likely. That & the vr machines in arcades were regarded as failures by the industry of course, if only theyd kept goin HL2 on one would've been great

That video is amazing. I don't care what IGN says, that video was NOT done by some random ass in front of his PC. That video was done by profressionals. Hmm...

- The description in the video matches almost everything in the patent that was released in Jan 05.

- Lets say that this was made by some ass...why did he make it? He couldnt have made this video in 3-4 months after the patent was released so it had to be someone in the game industry who knew about the revolution.

- The video is well organized like its ready to be shown at a conference or large group of ppl.

- If you fast foward the video to the part where it shows how the brain will connect to the TV & monitor...there's a GC at the top right (meaning it will have backwards compatibility)...What's the one at the bottom for with the "?" on it? Its shaped like what was described at IGN.

- Why was there a timeline at the beginning of the video?

- The logo looks like it was done professionally.

- Nintendo said that their console will be revolutonary...

- Who did it? Why is he hidden?

- How did IGN get the video?

and the most interesting question of all...

The video was cut off right in the middle of the presentation...where's the rest of it?

:jawdrop: while i doubt many of these features will ever make it into the final production model, it is awesome nonetheless. Nintendo truly is the king of innovation hands down.

Here you can find more info about it - who did it, and why he did it. It's not simply a fake video, it's a protest from a Nintendo fan against the state of the game industry. Or something like that.

But anyway, if they made it, I'D BUY ONE!

If that were real, it would fail. Nobody outside kids and hardcore fans would buy it.
