is there an app to decrease load times and increase graphics

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

i'm just wondering if there was an app to decrease load times or if there is an app that actually does anything to a commercial dreamcast games instead of the utopia boot disk which loads the game.

umm, no warez, but you can pad your disc. With a dummy file. I dunno a "legal" place to get a dummy-file maker, but you should search for one. I think they work with homebrew games too.

It says that the dreamcast uses 5 ohm resistors, but it says to replace them with 10 ohm resistors, i think you can still use 3rd party controllers and still play for a very long time, i've been playin my dreamcast with unofficial controllers for about everyday for a year and a half till the controller ports died, but you can just buy resistors from radio shack (5 resistors for $1 U.S dollar) and just replace the dead ones

Oh yeah, try overclocking the dc. Check the hardware forum here.

Perhaps Chankast can be of service.
You feel at ease as you flock with the masses,
What do you see with your heads in their asses?
Keep on railing at what I believe,
Call me insane and I am proud to be.

using chankast in no way aides in that sort of thing. especially since it cant read GD-ROMs.

And until Chankast can outperfrom the DC console in every possible way, it's just not worth it.
