I don't see how what looks like just another damn tamagotchi could rate a perfect 10, unless you get to abuse / kill your virtual pet in a myriad of amusing ways, or is nintendogs not what I think it is?
Didnt Famitsu give Meteos something like 38/40? I fail to see how that game deserves that. It's a good puzzler but it's nothing Amazing. And Wind Waker is by no means perfect.
And Nintendogs is what you think it is Dr Wily. An excact copy of the semi-popular Cats & Dogs series you could get for your PC.
- Take your dogs to different places
- Groom them
- Feed them
- Play with them using a selection of toys
- etc. etc.
Additionally there are 3 different versions of the game with different breeds of dog, because why put everything into 1 game when you can charge people 3 times for essentially the same product?
There are only 2 reasons why this got 40/40:
- Famitsu arent as accurate/harsh as urban legend makes them out to be
- The Japanese love virtual pet things, to the point where lots of Japanese mobile phones even have a virtual pet built in.

I know very little about it other than it looks like just another tamagotchi, hence my bemusement at a perfect score in famitsu.
Also please note there are 2 famitsus, one crap one that gives 35+ marks to pretty much any old crap, and one strict one that basically slates anything that isnt amazing.
I still dont know which of the famitsus gave that score or much about the game
