RPG's on DreamSNES #2
I'm told that Chrono Trigger is a little better on DSNES 0.9.7, but are the other *big* RPG's any better? Has anyone tried Seiken Densetsu 3/ToP/FFVI/Front Mission or any of the others?
rpg
chrono trigger works good in 0.9.6. although u have to turn full screen off to get a little speed boost. i have yet to try it on 0.9.7 though.
I just wanna......... tape you,.................... all night.! - N*E*R*D*

Yes - http://www.zophar.net to get the english translation patch. I can't tell you where to get the ROM though.BizzyRok wrote:Is there a English language version available for Seiken Densetsu?
(that is assuming you meant Seiken Densetsu 3. Seiken Densetsu is actually Final Fantasy Adventure on the Gameboy...)

Seiken..
Seiken Densetsu = Secret of Mana in English..
Chrono Trigger is very slow in Dreamsnes, I don't think it's playable. FFIII also.
I haven't tried Secret of Mana (Seiken) since I thought it probably won't be very playable.

Didn't know
Oh, are the Gameboy and PSX versions any good?
Have you actually tried Secret of Mana in Dream Snes? I have, and I don't know what you count as 100% speed, but the game runs slowly. Not extremely slowly, but slowly enough to be too annoying to play, I think.

Re: Didn't know
The gameboy version is very old and the translation isnt too good, but it's worth playing if you liked the snes one. The PSX Seiken is good too, it doesnt have much in the way of a storyline, just lots of mini-quests. The graphics and sound are great though^^davidian wrote:Oh, are the Gameboy and PSX versions any good?

Turn off full screen and transparencies and chrono trigger runs very well in 0.97.just remember to turn transparencies back on in the robot world.Captain Tokyo wrote:I'm told that Chrono Trigger is a little better on DSNES 0.9.7, but are the other *big* RPG's any better?
