NeoDC v2.3

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

Sorry Q-man, I have made 4 coasters myself.....

I get the invalid bios too and I have used the same bios 6 times now with prior neo cd and neo4all.

Don't know what could be wrong. :|

Got the same "INVALID BIOS" message after I insert a CD game
I'm using Dreamloader like always (same bios and all tested versions there).

there is something horribly wrong then, because when i test it it works fine =\.

EDIT: i see what i did. how foolish. I cant believe i let something like that slip. in my re-arranging of things i accidentally placed the bios_load AFTER the CD swap. This of course never affects me because i load bios either out of romdisk or from my pc so it remains there no matter what.

im really sorry to those of you who burned discs already. I've already fixed the source code, but there is something wrong with my DC and it wont read discs at the moment, as well as problems with my compiler (everything falling apart eh?)

so... i've re-uploaded the fixed sources and taken down the link to the binary. if anyone with a similar setup (spu_dma enabled kos, gcc 3.4.2) would like to compile it and replace my faulty bin with that please do so. I'm going to work toward the same end after some sleep and hitting my DC with a hammer repeatedly.

on the plus side, anyone with a coders cable/bba can still use the original bin by transferring the bin over cc/bba while having the bios in the folder /pc/usr/local/dc/kos1.3/kos/projects/NeoDC/neocd.bin .

again, sorry for the problems.

You need to open a new browser window and copy/paste the address otherwise it doesn't work or you could use the checker and scramble yourself
