Bad Games

They say that dreamcst has a line up of 80% good games and only 20% bad games let's see how much of the is true let's makre a list of all the bad games and why they are bad. I've got three games so far

NOTE : if the game gets a 6 or more then only it is not a bad game

1)Nightmare Creatures 2 might have rob zombie music but it's terrible graphics suck and gameplay is worse then graphics
5.9 Vidoe Game Score : Failed

2)Fighting Force 2 gameplay is okay everything else is bad
3.5 Video Game Score : Failed

3)Wild Metal : an awful game with no challenge and nothing to look forward horribly repetitive
3.5 Video Game Score : Failed

4th)South Park Rally : Even the die hard fans of the game should reconsider before "RENTING it"
3.5 Video Game Score : Failed

Then We have the mediocore games which are like probably on the line of failing but you should play them if your a die hard fan of a genre and you have a thirst for more games like this so we have a list of games that you could consider playing or a rental but dc games are rented no more:D

1)Carrier : game play is slow or someshit and the guy runs like a 4 year old kid , and the voice acting so bad that it just fucks you in the head though it has good stuff
6.4 video Games Rating : Not Recommended until you absoloutely can't live without a survival horror

2)Time Stalker: Storyy is fine , its contradictory dungeon, battle, and experience system undermines any hope you may have had of enjoying this game.
6.2 Video Game Rating : Not Recommended until you've finshed all the rpg's on dreamcast cause this is the worst

I'd say approximately 70% of the games on the DC are crap and not worth playing. 30% is still way higher than anything else.

Crap games:

--Jeremy McGrath's SuperCross 2000 (laughably awful)
--WWF Attitude
--WWF Royal Rumble
--Time Stalkers
--World Series Baseball 2K1

There were a lot of shitty PS1 ports, as well as a ton of shovelware. Developers were looking at the Dreamcast as the next Playstation--very easy to dev for, very cheap as well. Damn shame Sega killed it. Not enough money I suppose...

Man you're cruel, in your opinion almost all DC the games are crap... i think you said in the past that Head Hunter is crap. Maybe if you givem a chance...
On the other hand i agree with your list especially Mgrath, this game would be crap even on the genesis.

Almost anything is fun when you have 3 buddies with you.

And I never said Headhunter is crap.

70% x 248 = 174 crappy/mediocre games

30% x 248 = 74

Sounds about right to me.

I've played these games and they are good I think attitude got an 8

and I also checked that Carrier got a 6.3 despite the fact the game has horrible actting and late responding game play and rushed graphics(due to release of code veronica) the game has some pretty nice camera effects so do you think I should remove it from the list

P.S games who deserve a chance shouldn't be listed like Evil Dead the game is crap but it does manage to grow on you after a while and the voice acting has never been better...(well this means carrier is of the list to)

Soul Fighter has AWFUL controls. It's almost impossible to pick the items from the ground.

This is a completely opinionated thread. Someone could say that 100% of the DC's games are good, and they wouldn't be wrong. Questionable, definately.

And, compared to other baseball games, WSB 2K1 is an absolute joke. It would be a joke if it were the only baseball game in existence!

Some of you guys don't seem to be able to distinguish between truly bad games and simply mediocre or unexciting games.

Perhaps it's because most people who don't have massive collections of pirated games would never even play something like Jeremy Mcgrath Supercross 2000, so they don't know how much worse it is than Hydro Thunder or something (the only bad thing about Hydro Thunder is the ridiculous loading times).

I'm sure everyone realizes that it's all about opinions, but maybe people don't know how to temper their opinions when discussing things like this. For instance, I think Spirit Of Speed 1937, Soul Fighter or Taxi 2: Le Jeu are actually sort of fun games, but they're pretty much universally despised, so if someone mentioned them in this thread, I wouldn't stand up to defend them (I would and have elsewhere, but this thread isn't about that).

Same goes the other way, I thought Carrier and Dragonriders and any number of other games were pretty horrible, but I can recognize that some people would enjoy them, so I wouldn't mention them here.

It's true that it's all opinion, but there's also such a thing as concensus, which is just a socialized form of opinion. We'd all be better off in society if people could understand the difference between those and know when each is valid or applicable.
