run xbench on your machine and save the name as dcemu/"your user name" and lets see who has the fastest machine here

Pixel your machine was in that energy saver mode that keeps the cpu heat down. I had to look at the cpu bench to figure that out.

I ran xbench on my Cube. It's not horrible, but a GeForce 5200 would really help, and let's not forget L2 cache.

xbench is totally inaccurate. It shows my G4 as faster with the stock rage128 in it, than with my modded radeon 8500.

look at the scrolling and text scores. the rage should be way faster on those

and why would a rage128 be faster than a radeon 8500?
