Doesn't really matter, I'll be building a much better rig over the summer. This is just so I can replace my Dell proprietary mobo/cpu with something better for the moment.Random_Troll wrote:That really is a terrible deal.

P4 parts are more expensive, even though they're probably worse. I'd prefer an Athlon Rig, but I already have all the stuff that fits into the mobo, so it works out well.Random_Troll wrote:You charge the same amount for that p4 that I paid for my Athlon64 3000+. yeah. Not to ruin the deal, Cless, but Ein, you realize you'll prolly have to reinstall windows, and that the RAM you have is gonna slow down the system, unless you have like PC3200.einbebop44 wrote:P4 parts are more expensive, even though they're probably worse. Um. Why do you hate eBay again? You got a broken virtual boy, got your money back, then GAINED money by selling the parts of it that did work. I'd be VERY happy with that deal. And sellers list their shipping rates. If they're too high, use a different seller.I hate ebay. I know it is off topic, but I do. They jack up the shipping, and whenever you have a complaint, there is not much to do except file a case with a ebay moderator.....Some jerk sold me a piece of crap virtual boy that was listed in working condition.....Not only did I get my money back, but since he let me keep it, I sold the controller, stand, ac, and two games for almost double what I paid for the whole unit!!

You know what's hilarious about this? RT was damn right--Cless ripped me off. Could've gotten the stuff brand new for about the same, maybe $10 more. The mobo retails for like $65.
But what's even better? The fact that he sent me a CPU with a bunch of bent pins. What a surprise. So I got doubly ripped off.
You win some, you lose some I guess. Karma.

ive had old socket 7s get almost every pin bent, and bent them back. with a P4 i got a whole 3 or 4 rows bent, which was fixed with a knife between the rows and a gentle amount of pressure. it shouldnt be too big a deal

Probably won't go very high, so if anyone feels like bidding feel free.
