If your modding skills are on the same level as your typing skills, you're screwed.LordFenixNC wrote:dont care how it looks cause im moding the mother board to my PC case and im going to have the laser and stuff and i mite need some help with that mod ill draw up the scale of the case and stuff and what i plan on doing with that later i just really want to know is there a way to mod a either net card to my DC,

bITmASTER and Kiyoshi Ikehara have done it, I believe. I think Dan Potter tried it but I don't recall whether or not he mentioned getting anywhere with it.

Let's see if I can break this down for you.LordFenixNC wrote:i was told by a friend that somone posted up here that they done it i would really like to know cuzz the mode i plan on doing with my DC is going to look nice and i want to know if this can be done so i can do it before i mode it to the case of the pc
Someone made an ISA card adaptor for the DC.
That Adaptor would read ISA NICs.
Said Adaptor COSTS MORE TO BUILD THAN BUYING A BBA.
Got it?

That won't even function as a BBA, it only works with the netbsd distribution for the dreamcast. So its usability is very limited also.
Thanks to Digital Chaos, GoldbergWWE, and ace for the avatar, sig, and badge!

Maybe if you count labor. Otherwise, you really need to find a new supplier.Said Adaptor COSTS MORE TO BUILD THAN BUYING A BBA.
edit: either that, or you need to spill the beans on who's selling cheap BBAs.
Either way, it would only be useful for experimentation.
