Just wanted to let you all know that I have a large batch of Saturn Mod chips that I'm selling. Check my sig for details.

If you have questions, lemme know.
Email is the best way to get a hold of me.

Speaking of checking your sig, it is too tall and against forum rules.

What can you do with a Saturn Modchip that you can't do without it?

I have a few Saturns, and to play imports I cross a couple of pins inside...

You can't play homebrew or backups without a modchip.
Unless you want to do the near-impossible, hardware-damaging swap trick

It might be damaging but it's far from nearly impossible.

Near impossable? LoL yeah it takes about an hr to learn and then its easy as pie after that. Saturn Homebrew? What saturn homebrew theres not even a good nes emu for it while PSX has a perfect nes emu.

Have you ever tried doing the swap on a model 2? I find it near impossible.
Model 1s are supposed to be significantly easier

For homebrew, check out SegaXtreme

Well I tried it enough times to get sick of it.
We'll leave it at that.

Well I don't actually have a typical store setup anyway.
I just deal by email and Paypal. More personal that way anyway :D

I had on eof these chips installed here in Maryland at a import shop that is now closed. They work really well. At the time, before I realized that you can use the Action Replay Plus to play Saturn games, I thought those little chips did.....Later, I felt like a fool....

Yeah, me and all my buddies have model 1s.

I had a broken model 2 for a while, which was really weird looking to me with the buttons and all... At least I got the uber-cool controller from it!

The swap trick on model 1s is super easy.
I've been doing it for about 3 years now, and so have my friends, and none of us have had any trouble at all. At first we did, but after finding a suitable "swap disc" (Virtua Fighter seems to work best), we have no trouble at all.

I'd buy a modchip from you (actually, 3), but if no one has perfect info on how to install it in a model 1 I don't think I will right now. That is awesome that you have them in stock because SOOO many places don't carry them anymore.

The homebrew scene for Saturn does suck, but what do you expect from a system that's one of the hardest (supposedly) to program for?

One of the many reasons that DC is so great... :D
