PSone mod chip questions

I was going to get a PSone (the little Playstation), but I have a question about mod chips. Do all PSX mod chips work on the redesigned PSone? Or is there only a specific few that will work w/ it? Could anyone point me towards a good chip, preferably with as few wires to solder as possible. Thanks.

Go to chipzone.com and order one. They make a special stealth 2 chip with 6 wires, all easy. I modded my psone with one quick. Don't break the legs. you'll have a harder time, like me!

Swap trick doesn't work on the small PSones. This should be common knowledge. Boot discs or mod chips are required.

Im going to ignore your asshole-ism, and tell you how.
You take a piece of paper and jam the little button in the front(so it thinks the lid is always open)
Then you insert a real game. Let it start laoding up. Then when the screen goes to the black ps logo insert your backup. Then wait for it to slow then speed up again then slow. Now insert your real game. After about one second later the screen should og all black(or show the start of the loading screen) now insert your back-up. You'll be playing that eays. Now I dont want to hear anythign else from you.

Actually, it does work. I've doen it and my friend has done it. He did it his thirf or fourth try for the first time. Its easy.

I would prefer a chip over a swap trick anyday. I don't want to swap a disc everytime i play a game, i'd rather take 10 minutes to install a chip, and not be cheap about it.

"People without money" wouldn't be able to use the internet would they? Cancel your internet for a month, and you could afford TWO mod chips!
