Has anyone here eaten a deer that WAS NOT killed in cold blood? That means to do with premeditation and deliberately. So I guess road kill, a dead deer you found, or a deer you killed in self defense qualify...

No, I'm pretty sure either my buddies or I have delibrerately stalked and (quite enjoyably, I might add) shot every deer, elk, and antelope I've ever eaten. Makes you feel close to nature. Plus, elk jerky is the shizznite!

That's illegal in most states. (just to keep people without hunting licenses from highway hunting)

In Colorado, if you have an unfilled tag and nail one with your vehicle on your way back from a bad elk/deer hunt, DOW lets you keep it. I don't know if a deer's worth a front-end though...
