Nope, entirely different. Their guitar player (or was it bassist?) actually sings on half of the songs, so they have kind of a Blink 182 thing going on. The music itself sounds a bit like early Brand New, but with lyrics a little more deeper than the average pop punk band. They definatly have gotten better over the years, but it's still a solid album.DetunedRadio wrote:Aww, lucky.Kenichi wrote:Santa is bringing me Futures Deluxe Edition.DetunedRadio wrote:Futures is great as well. Classic.
I really want Static Prevails. I love that one almost as much as Clarity.
I've never heard static prevails, though. Is it in the same vein as clarity?
Hmm, I heard their self titled release from 94 but that was really different from anything else they did.Kenichi wrote:

Sounds interesting though, I love Brand New, atleast Deja Entendu.

Midgey34 - The Headautomatica CD is alright, haven't had a chance to listen to more then the first 5 songs though. I liked what I heard so far though.
Kenichi - I was lucky to find it at Borders, I've never seen any of their other stuff besides Transatlanticism anywhere. Photobooth is good, and I like the Song for Kelly Huckaby.

Jimmy Eat World - Futures (Deluxe Edition) Yes! Again! I'll tell you the story.
I bought a copy for my friend for Christmas from an ebay store. Weeks after I buy it, the store tells me their out of stock, and ask me if I want a refund. Then, it just so happens that my friend's dad bought it for him anyway, so I tell her to go ahead and give me my refund. A week later, I get an email saying that they shipped it. Apparently, she didn't read my email or didn't care to refund my money. Now I have two copies. Wee.
