For those that do not know, Advent Children will be a Final Fantasy VII-based movie in the form of a UMD disc for the PSP.

It's not a video game.

Its also gonna be on DVD for those of us without PSPs. Which trailer did you watch Ender? The one I saw had subs so I could understand what was going on.

Why would you buy the UMD of it over the DVD?

Maybe you have a PSP and not a portable dvd player.

Why would you buy the UMD of it over the DVD?

I would never buy a movie on a UMD unless it was only available on UMD exclusively. With a DVD you can play it on many PCs and at friends' houses, while a UMD cannot. I honestly find the whole thing to be a little greedy and gimicky and I doubt I'd ever use that feature if I ever buy a PSP.

You can convert DVDs to a format playable on the PSP. As far as price.. UMD discs are more expensive to make than DVDs. Why would they cost less?
