The mod is progressing but there is still a long way to go, I have 7 stages fully designed, and 3 of those are virtually complete bar some alternate colours and names for enemies.

So what I have left is 2 sub stages to design and 5 stages to complete. Development has sped up quite a bit thanks to to Albatross helping by making lots of characters.

The existance of this mod makes me so happy :D I'd love to wait at least another six months so axelblazeadam has all the time in the world for adding the final touches to his work - without any pressure 8-)

Looking good
I wish he would have used the SoR2 sprites for Axel and Blaze. They were better.

I don't think so. BK2 was the game that I've had most fun with, but every part of the BK series has it's pros and cons. One of the lot pros for BK3 are the detailed Character sprites with smoother animations and tons of different attack moves.

I don't know maybe it's my opinion. I think Blaze looked more real in BK2. And Axel voice in BK3 sounds like a robot.

Did you notice that BK3 is a lot more difficult than the others?

Oh and I forgot: thanks for the pics.

Yeah, you mean SOR3. They upped the difficulty way too much. The japanese version (BK3) was much easier, and you can beat the whole game on normal difficulty which you couldnt on SOR3.

To beat it I had to use snapshots. What's the difference between Sor3 and Bk3?

Most answers are already posted in some earlier posts. Bare Knuckle 3 is the Japanese version of SoR3, so it's the original version. A true collector's item in my opinion. It doesn't have that soundFX bug of SoR3, which adds a lot to the feeling and makes the game more fun than the US version (that's the same as the PAL version). It uses the original color maps of Blaze & Axel, the original voice samples - plus lots of other differences like the unmodified female enemies, Ash...
