Its my view that Democracy is the biggest farce of all time. Unless the govt goes to the people for every single action they take, it's not a democracy, because although i have the ''power'' to vote, once he gets in office i'm powerless under his will. There would have to be a referendum for every potential action to be taken in order for it to be a REAL power to the people democracy. This is only possible i think with extremely advanced technology that doesnt exist now however.

Well... Athens was close to that ideal, if you discount that only around 10% of the population could vote.

You are absolutely correct. One such person currently resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I was really hoping his landlords would evict him in January.

Anybody can be negotiated with at least up until the point where they are actively firing at you, and even after that point.

Seriously, take a look at the IRA a couple of decades ago vs. now. Violence begets violence because every terrorist you kill potentially becomes a martyr.

You can negotiate with anyone. It just doesn't always involve a lot of talking.
