Removing the metal shield is a delicate operation. The wire is connected to a very small pin, even though the Connection is good, I would stray away from jolting it

If you want to chip it, just be really carefull when removing the board, and replacing it.
My mate has a liksang fan for his std DC, the powerpack is 12V 100mA
The jap guy had an old DC which had the pipes in it. You cant fit pipres to a new DC as it requires a totally different motherboard (I have an old pipes machine). Also the metal casing is a differnt shape.
Definately go for the external fan, that should do it.
Glad it works with VGA, Ive got a VGA box on its way (got one for ?2.99). It took me a month to get it all up and running (Sourcign the parts was a real pain). However Im really glad its gone to an enthusiast who will use it (i would eb interested in knowing games which you have tried).
When I get the time and money I might have another go (with the VGA overclock) but my mate is away for months and I really dont have the time.
