I wonder since it runs at a pretty good speed, if they could implement sound in it, if so, then I will admit whole heartedly about amiga never working perfectly on the DC.

Hmmm, I've tried 2 games with no results... I've tried It Came From the Desert and Hunter... all I get is a black screen... am I doing something wrong? I've got kick1.3, which I've renamed... maybe I should try 2.0...

Chui has updated his port of the Amiga emulator UAE to the dreamcast. Here's what's new:

- Amiga500 with 1MB RAM.
- Frameskip1 (very close to real speed).
- Preliminar Menu System like DCaSTaway.
- Filemanager (load and reload floppy images).
- Sound (not crystal and slow a bit).

TODO:

- Virtual Keyboard.
- Speed up.
- Complete Menus.
- Crystal sound.

You can download it in this Dream On forum topic.

Hmmm, I'm still getting the same error... even with the new one. The 1st read is already scrambled correct? I have the 1st_read, IP, kick.rom and the adf files I want to use... but I get nothing but black... just black. Any help? Pretty please? ;)

Okay people!!! I got it working. This emu doesn't work right when there is a 2nd controller plugged in. Also, the right movement for the joypad isn't correct. When playing Addams Family it made Gomez duck instead. I can't be bothered signing up to the other forums, so if any one wants, they can take these problems and post them over there :)

Okay, the performance of this emu truely is amazing... I'm loving it.

Now, about the controls. Well, it seems as though, when pushing left, your character will go diagonal up/left, and when pushing right, he will go diagonally down/right.
Of course there is other problems, like not being able to play multidisk games yet, and the left mouse button and joystick button being the same button, but this is only a 2nd release... and its AMAZING!!!!! I recommend you all try this puppy out.. but make sure you don't have a 2nd controller plugged in, or you'll only get a black screen and waste about 10 CD's wondering what you did wrong :(

Well done fellas.. this is amazing... I especially like the idea of having the disk accessing info at the bottom... really helps to see if a game has stalled or is loading :)

That's the Dreamcast's D-PAD. It's not very good.

Well, Rand has said in the past that it's possible. It's just that the amiga is a complex bast*rd to emulate, or something along those lines. (correct me if I'm wrong Rand)

I asked for this a few yrs back for LSL games on DC, looks like the dream has come true :D

You've been able to play the LSL games on the DC for ages... on Sarian and FreeSCI.

Yeah, Ian Micheals told me it could be done too, and would be a hell of a lot of work.
