What's your SEGA game for today?

Post by Segata Sanshiro »

What game (on a sega console) are you playing today?
By today i mean at the DAY (or moment) of your post, the morning before work? or what you plan to play tonight?
i'm in a retro mood so i played:
- vectorman (genesis) this morning
- Sonic Jam (saturn) btw the 3D level is awesome (on par or better than spyro on PS1, pity a 3D sonic was never released for the saturn)
tonight i plan to play some:
- JP lost world (genesis)
- Ristar (genesis)
- sonic adventure 2 (Dreamcast) to get more A score emblems
- and ofcourse my mandatory daily dosage of TXR2 and Crazy Taxi

so... what are you playing now?

I've been playing Ristar for the last couple days on the GameGear, this game came out before the sonic.. wonder what would have happened if it had done as well as sonic.. Ristar Adventure 2 for DC??

I hadn't planned on playing anything today, but it seemed that after it started raining, some friends wanted to start up some Power Stone or something like that, and we actually ended up playing the first couple of levels in Sonic Adventure -- None of them had played (or explored) it too much, so, it was a treat for them and I enjoyed watching the beautiful level scenery go by! We were going to play some Pro Yakyu Team de Asobou!, but, perhaps tomorrow.

Great thread, Segata Sanshiro!!

PS- Ristar was released in 1995, was not it?

OK, it's 10:30pm here and i'm still working... from time to time i'm looking at the Sonic Jam (saturn) case... that's the only thing giving me the will to finish faster and start sonic3+knuckles from the beginnin and try to get all the emeralds.
I watched RE Apocalypse yesterday (liked it a lot and would rate it as an arcade movie, enjoyable, lite script, and better than the first  ) and played RE2 on my DC this morning.

so, what sega game are you playing now?

PS: in the movie there is even the drop-pickup gun scene from the RE:Veronica intro.

I had thought much earlier but I have a Japanese Version and it shows a
1994 so sonic was out a few years before.
Alas Ristar only made it to toy capsules in shenmue, that's about it :P
Still poor Ristar.. never got the attention he justly deserved!!! it was all that evil Tails fault! He shoudl have been sonic's sidekick

Still playing Ristar.. and actually taking a break from the Kite level on Sonic (GG)..

I was playing bleemcast mgs, then phantasy star on my laptop AHHH.....MORE MAZES!!!!!

I was playing sonic advanced on my friend's little brother's gba sp. It was alright, but the gba wasn't displaying the environment very well so things like fireballs and lasers would hit me without even being seen...and I have over 20/20 vision..GRR!!

Ya I guess that's about it, I might play some pso on the schthack servers later tonight as well.

peace,

Kingbuzzo.

 not exactly, but if you get inspired and go kick some EGGMAN ass on your DC after work, then it would count!
