The Fakeness (sic) that is the panoptican aka Tom Rekker
Q: Will Neo Dc support net play?
A: No, I would rather just have it running at a decent speed for now.
Ha if he were a real DC programer he would have known that net support is imposible at this time and is not supported by KOS.
WE ARE TO SMART FOR THIS.

I've never understood people who do this. Especially now since all the fake's we've already had and no one belives them at all now. Net play HAHA! He makes it sound like, I know how to use the DC modem but im not going to just yet!
In the words of Q-Tip : Looking for vibes or positivity, not negativity / 'Cause we gotta strive for longevity by online gaming

Netplay is not impossible, you just would have to have a BBA/LAN for your Dreamcast.
Right now somebody is making an IRC client for Dreamcast as a matter of fact, but it won't be running on the modem any time soon (forgot to mention it runs on BBA/LAN for now, I dunno about serial cable).

If you think typing 'make' is hard, forget coding.
If you can't figure out the commands to DC-Tool, forget coding.
If you think coding is as easy as typing printf("Hello World\n"); , shoot yourself.

You could have Netplay with BBA support. You can see a working example of how to use it in the NetBSD source code - you can always modify your library to add a feature it's lacking, I do this with libdream all the time.Cmtz wrote:Q: Will Neo Dc support net play?

I'm not saying anything about Neo DC being real or fake, but that doesn't disprove it.

I'm sorry you wanted me to call you by your nickname. Oooook?
Mary, I wont tell anyone your secrets.
Now tell me mr smartone how are you loading up a rom onto the dc's ram?
Are you using the RMz002 or the RMz001. ONLY the panoptican should answer this question. I know what all the other programers are going to say so please stay quiet. Thankyou.
