DC-TOOL GUI v2.0 released...

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

Ah, I see. It wipes the ISP stuff (and presumably the PSO stuff), right?

Maybe "Reset FLASH..." is a better word then "Delete FLASH..." :)

err... actually unless i missunderstood blackaura didnt mention warez, he only said it could be used to delete your pso serial/access, when you need to register a new game for example. dreamkey didnt do that.

And with the Echelon Selfboot Kit, you can do selfboot iso games and selfbooting legal homebrew.

So i'm sorry if this tool can reset pso or another stuff like this. this isn't the real goal of this function.

i have removed the gd rom ripper (it was finished), powered by dreamrip from bero, because i'm a dangerous warez man... but the real reason it's because i respect dc communauty.

And thanks you speud for this precision. ;)

Would it be wrong of me to ask if this removed feature was in any way better than previous ones, aside from usability? If you'd rather not talk about it, that's fine.

I don't know if it does, actually. Just guessing, because the Phantasy Star Online serial numbers are stored in the flash as well.

Yes it does. I have read again the readme file : it reset all datas, including isp settings, date/time, language selection ... and pso serials.

i don't know, because i have the original euro pso gd.

because i'm not a dreamcast c dever, i haven't made (make...?) this tool, and this version only exists (reset of pso serial).

i'm sorry, i read very badly, i haven't noticed pso = phantasy star online in the read me (because i don't like pso...)

ps : who play again pso? because http://dreamliste.free.fr/ is looking pso players.
