The All-Time Hardest Level

Post what you think is (or what you had the most trouble with anyway) the hardest level in all the games you've played.

I'll post my experience later, if this thread picks up any.

A few from this gen and a few that aren't.

Ninja Gaiden - take your pick there are a few rock hard levels in there.

Goldeneye - Aztec level on '00 Agent' difficulty

Halo - Truth and Reconsiliation on Legendary difficulty. Legendary difficulty =

Viewtiful Joe - The last level which hits you with multiple boss sadism

GUNVALKYRIE - I love this game but the last boss was nearly impossible to beat. It is one of the most intense boss fights I've ever come across.

Advance Wars - the last mission is hard depending on what COs you have. The first time I played it I actually got COs which made it literally impossible to win! Now that is hard!

Super Monkeyball 1 & 2 - Some of the master levels are just insanely hard

Mike Tyson's Punch Out - Mike Tyson

That is enough for now methinks.

Heh, I've had Goldeneye since it first came out, but I don't think I could ever unlock the Aztec level. I'll take your word on it though.

And I've heard evil things about the last level of VJ as well. Hell, I could never beat the boss of the first level of the game.

for a dreamcast game, the last race on trickstyle where you race that teacher guy on that trick course is pretty difficult. I always fall off the dang level

The Water Temple in Ocarina of Time. I've beaten the game so many times but I always dred playing that temple. It Irritates me so badly. I'm about to play it again right now. Wish me luck.

i completely agree man... i hafta play that game again some time

my hardest level though is Metroid Primes battle with the Omega Pirate in the Phazon Mines im still stuck there

another is some levels in Vexx

I thought the dragon on PSO was as hard as hell. All the boss levels on jet grind radio are pretty tough too.

Nintendo:

Rad Gravity: Could not defeat Final Boss.
You have to kill it with 15 of it's own Rockets.

MegaDrive:

Super Hydlide: The Game itself is hard unless you spend hours level building, the last level where the boss is is Hard not helped due to a bug in the game.
You walk into the room with the final boss only for him not to turn up due to you not having all the Fairy Equipment.
The bug caused 1 piece of the Fairy Equipment to be missing from where it was meant to be.

MegaCD:

Robo Aleste: Second to last boss is hard ( harder than the last boss ), nice game completed serveral times.

Mega Drive:

Ys III: Last Boss is Hard, i have completed serveral times but this is one hard boss.
The Super Nintendo version is easy for some reason.

Nintendo:

Turtles: "Not the Coin Up/ Arcade version" this was a Hard Game, loved this back in the day finished serveral time.

There is others but i think that will do.

All the levels in all the non-sports games I've ever played. I suck at videogames, but I enjoy them.

I actually have that game, bought it back when Sega CD was still popular. I got to like the second or third level and died somewhere, never touched the game again. I guess I'm just not a big flying shooter fan.

Hard Corps was a bit easier, I'll admit, and I actually managed to beat it iirc.
