how far can vmu mod's go?

Post by hobbes »

hey guys I have a couple of vmu questions. first off what are the standard things the vmu can do? I know that displaying icons and some DC games gave u mini games 4 ur vmu.

mods: I know u can put custom icons on the vmu and put in some brew games into it. but is that it? isn there anything more these little baby's are capable of?

could a vmu b used as a watch? all my boys always diss on sega and I have this really cool see thru black vmu and I think it would b cool if it could tell time :D if not, can it b done? if so, how long will the batteries lifespan last?

plz someone help me out thanx

Ok, you can backlight it with an LED, stick an LED in the top. Those will drain battery life though. You can make it run off AAA batterys aswell. Thats all I can think of so far

There's a clock in the VMU. That's why the batteries continue to drain even when it's off.

the vmu's could have done a lot more if they had just worked harder on battery life

Just open it up and kill the clock and then you won't have the clock. VMU Mods are hard, well to me at least. They require more work and should only be done when experienced.
