I am really confused on how to use this, I made a .txt file, but I really just am confused on what to put in it..

They're called SPCs. You can create them easily with ZSnes (and Snes9x probably). Plugins for Winamp exist, so you could just use the in-built disk writer to create WAV files. One of the plugins will also play ZST save states.
With SPCs, you record once at the start of the song and the entire song is dumped at once. It will continue playing for as long as you like, but you can set definite track lengths in the ID tags.
