Single Mame Game emu q...
I want to burn all of the single Mame games, like Popye, Rastan, etc... emulators to a disc... Can I make these all on one disc that is autoboot? If not, what autobooting program should I use? I'm a newbie and need a little help with this... I am using Nero in a Win 98 platform... HELP! Thanks! - Daryl

Check the tutorial on "How To Use Selfboot Inducer" on my web site. Then, download your SBI files from Sbiffy! The files you want are: anything that contains the initials "SGA" (stands for Single Game Arcade), m2 (single game emus that were done by Warmtoe/Ice88), meta (single game emus done by metafox), and you probably also want Galaga (that SBI is simply called Galaga, and doesn't have any initials).

here's a question - what the heck game is SGAsf2 supposed to be used for? the documentation implies the original SF2 (which didn't work), but the pictures suggest SF2 alpha (which i haven't tried).
sorry for posting on this topic, but it's the only relevant thing i've seen in a while and i've been meaning to ask.

Street Fighter 2. The file is called sf2.zip. You probably need an older copy of the rom. A lot of the SGA emus were created when the DC only had access to MAME 0.3 or something like that. I believe the rom needs to be 3.35 megabytes.

from IMR site:
Its SF2 emu, version AlphaStreet Fighter II - The World Warrior (c) Capcom. The entire fighting game phenomenon sprang forth directly from these eight selectable World Warriors and four boss characters. Controlled with a 8-way joystick and six buttons.

I am 95% positive about that.ethoscapade wrote:thanks guys - you sure about the 3.35 megs, though?
That's because the versions you have seen are the newer versions. Newer versions have been streamlined a little bit.every version i've ever seen is 3.30 megs, and, well, those didn't work...i don't know.
It's the "world" version, so it should be NTSC.it's the NTSC version, right?
