i tried to burn my first dc nester disc today and ran into a problem

as i was burning, nero said : CANNOT WRITE TRACK AT CORRECT POSITION WITH THIS RECORDER

and the burning failed ...

any ideas???

how old is your burner, it might not be able to do mode 2, so make it an iso and burn it with achool 120%, that might do the trick.

i tried using alcohol and it still didnt work .. i used Selfboot to make the image, should i be using a different program? i followed all the steps in the tutorial and am still having no luck

Coaster Count = 2

if someone could walk me through a method that is tested and they use that would be great

You could try to use CDRecord as well.
Selfboot has a fairly nice CDRecord GUI built-in.

get a new burner, they are cheap.

no. that isnt the problem. lemme try my guess routine. the first program you used was nero 6? if so, try using nero 5, it should burn things correctly. either that or Disc Juggler.

just make a cdi image not an nrg image. if you are using nero 6 it won't work, you have to have nero 5.
