Advise for car Kit (lil heavy for 56k)

hey i ended up gettin a ford probe, got a realy good deal on it
but i'm thinking of getting a kit for it since they're somewhat affordable

also i plan to get a new hood, should i get the vented hood or flat? thanks guys

I want to mod up my car a little when I get one, but getting insured on a modded car when your under 21 (and male) in the UK is a bitch, insurance companies overcharge so much here its stupid.

yeah especially when women drivers are worse overall they just have fewer deaths pffft i've almost been hit by stupid women on cell phones or doing makeup grrrr

i got a 97 last year made

i can only find carbon fiber hoods which i hear dont crumble and have taken off head in a crash

I don't see what's wrong in trying to make a car look nice (subjective, of course). Trying to make it look "fast" however, is another matter.

agreed

its all part of the plan
planning on taking out the cat conveter and adding cold air intake...
being such a light car those things can speed it up quite a bit

i'm trying to do as much of work as i can on my own

here is mine now

there is slight bubbling on the hood where washing fliud squirters are and that makes me want to get a new hood... and i figure if i'm going to do that i might as well do it all ya know? that way i repaint it once

I would be more impressed with a standard car with no frills that can beat out a jazzed up car that was all cosmetic.

So would I but if he is tuning his car for performance then there is nothing wrong with also adding some (tasteful) aesthetic modifications, no ricer crap though

well i'm not adding a differnt wing(spoiler) or anything too crazy i just want to enhance it since i'm going to do some work on it any way
