I have been reading some threads over at http://hardforum.com and that's how I found out about the mobile Athlon XPs. I figured, heck, it's only about $90 so i ordered one from newegg.com.
I ordered the 2500+ model and installed it. Very nice chip.
I think this screenshot says it all. ( sorry for the slow load ).

I never really felt the need to overclock a CPU. I did one time feel daring and overclock a intel 233mmx to run at 243. I didn't actually mean to, just it was one of those jumper motherboards. And of course I couldn't find the manual and the board wasn't labeled so I guessed. Was a good running computer for its time though.

I goes, over to newegg and looks at price.. All I can is DAMN!. What kind of cooling did you put on that badboy? Now, I'm thinking of getting one. Hell, if you can get that speed out of the 2500. I might buy the +2000XP and OC that one. Only will cost me 60 bucks. Or do they bartons OC better than the Thoroughbreds?

bartons own the older XPs in OC-ing.
but if you want to OC like this dude be sure to grab the mobile 2500xp.
as for cooling just a good hsf would delight you.
(regular barton 2500 is like 70, now 2.2Ghz so easy to achieve)
