drone wrote:Hey there.

I've downloaded all of the files, but for the version released a few days ago.

I un-rar'd the first file, no.1, and left the others all packed up.

You told someone that this was the way to burn it??

So, should I un-rar them all?? Burn as an ISO, image, boot,...???

I'm using NERO, and I don't mind downloading DJ, or Alcho, but is that the problem??

Let me know.

I really want to give your mod a try.

Thanks.
Ok all you need to do every time you have a bunch of rar files that belong to the same image is click the first one.This doesn't mean the others are left "unpacked" winrar unpacks the whole image by clicking the first one.

The image is cdi but most people hate discjuggler, i suggest you get alcohol 120% because it burns nero,cdi and other image formats.Alcohol is the best way to go.

Once you get alcohol just open the image with it and burn it.Set it to RAW DAO and enable buffer underrun at the settings screen, this should work just fine.

Believe me, I'm not trying to be a butt hole but where is the source code? Evidently there was some modification to the original source, and it is covered under the LGPL.

Forgive if I'm just overlooking where to find it.

no, there was no modifiction to the source code. Everything modded is by the limits of the sourcecode.

Cool, so I take it you modified the opening source code? And how did you guys get saving working? Nice :D

I'm going to download it when it's not so slow. Too bad there aren't more hosts out there.

There is not a real save function in it yet. More of a trick to make the game think it has been beaten without actually beating the game at all.

I beat the game in like 10-20 mnutes. That short, robotic arms guy is too powerful :D he hits like the hulk. and it didnt say anything about the saving, i think he just made it do something for it to save in the dc memory, like the sega net thing, or something like that.

I haven't played the game yet, but 10-20 minutes, that sounds a like a bit of an overstatement.

oh ok, so its more like a password, or maybe some buttons to press, right? if so thats clever and simpler than having to implement actual saving.

about the internal memory saving that would be even harder to implement to me, so no way it uses this method, especially if the source code hasnt been modified

Get WinRAR from http://www.rarlab.com and you'll be able to open .RAR files.
...controller hasn't killed me yet.

was the throw bug fixed? That was kind of annoying..

(when you throw an enemy, sometimes their sprite would hit you as if you were in the path of the throw yourself)..

man I just tried this game out, awesome work, the guys that replaced the bikers woo those are a toughie, and truck and grinder are lots of fun haha.

I had a weird bug though, when I was fighting stone man his HP hit zero and he started flashing, but he never died, and he kept fighting while flashing but he inflicted no damage to me, and I inflicted no damage to him, wierd, so I had to end the game, I'll play more later.

those bike things were way over done... i have to say that the short robot thing is the only decent charicter in the whole game. As a whole though, well done. the rest of the charicters are clumsy, and a bit over sized. Zero is a nice touch, but the sprite looks really odd compared to evrything in the game. but.. good work.

I played it yesterday and it rocks! Yeah that smaller robot is really powerfull I kept on killing the second player by accident I don't think I saw an option where you can turn off beating up the other player. :(

its funny how everyone refers to duo as a "short robot thing" - anyway, each character is good to use for different levels of difficulty.

Duo= Easy

Megaman= Normal

Protoman= Hard

Roll= Very Hard

i fixed that throwing bug that joako is talking about, but its not in the final, would u guys be interested if i released a version that fixes the getting hit by throws problem.

For stoneman=- just knock him off the screen and walk away, hell be gone within secs- people thought that hitting stoneman while hes flashing or down is pretty cool, so i decided to leave it in, it doesnt pose a problem to getting through the game
