Alright steve the game is still great but heres the things i found

1. i dunno about anyone else but it felt like to me on the intro movie it changed the text to fast. but i did love how a movie was implentmented.

2.ive only notice this happen once but in the 1st level playing as megaman a Grinder came on to screen. not sure but i think it was just mega and the Grinder at this time. well when i went to perform a jump kick and he tried hittin me at the same time. megaman kind of froze in jump kick positon underneathe his roller arm. this only happened in this one time but i tried the jump kick 3 times and it did it. but i never see it happen for the rest of the game.

3.now the level intros all besides level 1 get cut off too fast especially level 2's intro. it was like a flash on the screen. and i also noticed stonemans intro gets cut real fast.

Aside from all that the game is good.im glad to see a movie in there and megaman being stronger. thats about all the critques i have right now considering i havent made it thru the game. i got to Bass and got killed.(dang it) lol so when i finally make it thru the game ill tell ya if i discover anything else. and as always good job steve

only person i know that may be able to implement that save feature for his mod, and maybe all others- is ian micheal. Im guessing there is a way to use the SETTINGS.SAV from the pc edit pack, and make it so that the dc version can target the SETTINGS.SAV from a vmu..

edit- im asking for help with this from the bor devvers and i may recieve an answer very soon.

Can't wait to play this new beta!

Suggestion/Critics

One of the things that I think that's not so good is/was? the animation of Megaman beating others in the last releases - there's this dog animation that comes me in mind.
If you didn`t change it already, then that would be my wish or suggestion. Maybe you can put some other nice animation in instead?

I like the idea with all that small and really huge enemies. I'm sure if you implied more different enemies they'll not appear that often.
Also the flying ones were new to BOR.

More animations that could be worked over - based on the last release:

- The "throwing bug" when Megaman hits itself by throwing an enemy must be fixed.

- Also Megaman runs not as fluid as Protoman though it takes some time to get used to the shield that he wears.

- Megaman grapping enemies and beating them looks and "feels" strange. Animations should be checked here too.

- Also you can grap flying enemies though they were in the air. Is this even possible to fix?

Beside of that I really enjoyed playing your mod! That'd be the 4th version that I'm gonna burn and I really can't wait to see the final release!

Where did you get that girl that's playable? Animations are really good and it plays well with her.

Wasn't there another character beside Protoman and Zero? There is this SNES game: Rockman & Forte!? Or is this the different naming in international releases of Megaman games that confuses me?

And yes, a save/vmu feature for BOR engine would be nice

Thank you four all your good work!
That's already a really nice Megaman game for DC!

i like all of megamans new ablities. the extended shot and the upgraded strength. it makes the game a little bit more balanced with the rider attacks and the massive size of enemies. it allows you to stay a safe distance from them hence allowing you to stay alive longer.

Hey! Great second Beta, DCSteve!!! Duo may still be the easiest to be the game with, but Megaman's newfound strength gives him the overall advantage! Now I want to use him instead of everyone else because of his shooting ability, lol! Also, nice job on remaking Bass' ending from Power Fighters! IMO, this game just needs a few more things before you should move up to the Megaman X parts.

1) Zero is too glitchy and wiggly and sticks out like a sore thumb. His special and double-tap moves are also way to hard to hit!

2) Gutsman has a STRANGE intro animation. He also moves very strangely when you fight him by gliding with no animation.

3) Of course Sigma is strange and glitchy, but he's probably still being worked on. Just some brushing up and he'll do much better.

You know, this is turning into something legendary! I just hope that Ian is still working on the TMNT mod. Strangely, when I first heard of BOR modding, the first things to come to mind was Ninja Turtles, then, Megaman, and THEN Nintendo! I'm seeing everything come true! Ian, please don't give up on TMNT! We still long for that awsome remake!

Oh, and one more thing DCSteve...

DID YOU GET MY LINK TO THE SITE WITH THE MEGAMAN X AND ZERO MOVIES? I'M SORRY, BUT I'VE ALREADY POSTED IT TWICE! I HOPE THAT YOU FINALLY GOT WHAT YOU NEEDED!

Also, you can probably find the movie clips on KaZaA!

Thanks again, DCSteve! And goodluck!

LMFAO! <------------------> for two reasons...

1) You didn't say anything earlier, so I was beginning to worry, ha ha ha.

2) My post is so friggin' long, and you've only used eight words.

Another great release. Only bugs I see that haven't been mentioned are character names in the first stage, then again, you may want them how they are. As for the stuff with Gutsman looking odd during movement, this might be amended by having the little flame that comes out from behind him flicker. Seems he just looks out of place because all the other characters have so much animation. Again, a great release! It's shaping up to be...

Counterstrike :: Halflife,
Megaman War Of The Past :: Beats of Rage
...controller hasn't killed me yet.
