I am just wondering if there were any Mr.Bungle fans on the forums? If so tell me you favorite songs and laud the excellent band that is Mr.Bungle!
My favorite song Ms.Bungle-My ass is on fire
Good luck finding people who've even *HEARD* of Bungle; they're not particularly well-known unless you're actually musically involved. But if you like Bungle, you might also like Estradasphere: http://www.estradasphere.com

I'll check it out, I really love that kind of avante garde genre-less Bungle like stuff.
Mr. Bungle is great. Most people will know them for their Legend of Zelda song which is often attributed to SOAD. I urge everyone who likes ska to check out the band Yeska. Very awesome latin ska.
Mike Patton is /awesome/. Mr. Bungle's latest album was great - not a single track on it I don't love - but I finally got Disco Volante recently, and it's pretty damned impressive. Desert Search for Techno Allah off of that one is probably my favorite.
Other bands he's involved in, like Tomahawk, are just as good. Lovage - Mike Patton, Nathaniel Merriweather, Jennifer Charles, Kid Koala, Dan the Automator. Such a weird mix of talents, and they work amazingly well together. Pit Stop and To Catch a Thief are two really good tracks.
And then of course, there's Fant?mas. Best for last. I haven't heard their first album, but everything off of Director's Cut is friggin great. And I've been listening to Del?rium C?rdia pretty much on repeat since I got it last week. No words can describe it aptly - the closest I can come up with is it's sort of like watching Jacob's Ladder.
(& I've never heard their Zelda song... but I have enough damned covers of that already)
Oh yeah. I love Mr. Bungle. The only album I have is the self-titled one, but it's great. Have yet to get the latest Fantomas album, heard very mixed reviews of it.
I personally like "The Girls of Porn" and "Egg".
What about Bionic Vapour Guy? Actually, Pink Cigarette wd probably my favorite off of that album. But, like I said, every single track is great.
Del?rium C?rdia is definitely wholly different from any of his other endeavors. If you like Patton's song-writing skills (which definitely shine on California) you're not going to see any of that in this album (and if all you've heard is the self-titled album, you might not even recognize it). I haven't figured out if there's any words at all yet... He definitely uses his voice, but sparingly. (Not like Ma Meeshka Mow Skwoz). And it's one 1:14 track. 'Cause it's not songs, it's a single sound piece.
It actually is a lot /less/ "grating" than, say, some of the experimentation that went into Disco Volante. It's on the whole very slow-paced, introspective. Changes in tempo and whatnot, but nothing like switching between a whole bunch of mucical styles before you realize what's going on.
Also check out Dillinger Escape Plan featuring Mike Patton. It's CRAZY hardcore stuff. Dillinger Escape Plan is some of the most hardcore math metal you can find, and Mike Patton did a short album with them and its pretty crazy. I recommend it.
