An LED generates ZERO heat when running at correct voltage. A little more than normal voltage will resultin low amounts of heat. A lot of heat means it will blow soon.

haha what I find funny is that when i get around to making the dreamcast night light, as noted on riva's website, i'm going to use the White 12000mcd LED, now those will be BRIGHT.
ok jesus, all you have to do is get an LED with 3.3 v or a bit higher, desolder the origional, and solder in the new one. GD if you can figure that out... im better than you

Illuson, yeah but the Ma's are also a lot higher than the voltage it would be getting. Unless you tapped power from the PSU it wouldn't be as bright as it should be
