He's using Alcohol 120%. He said that at the beginning.

Why are you using NRG files? Can't you download other copies of the demos? You could download the CDI versions of them, or you could go to http://www.sbiffy.com/ and download the SBI files of the demos you are trying to burn. Then, you could go to my site and follow the tutorial on using Selfboot Inducer.

Nero 6 won't work for burning DC images, I'm afraid. You'll need Nero 5.5.x.

It's exactly the same process for .NRG files.

That's what I was wondering. Which demos are available only in NRG format?

Please tell us what demos you are trying to burn, and post a link to the site that you downloaded them from (unless that web site also has WAREZ downloads).

You could probably use something like ISOBuster to open the image, and make sure that the image is not corrupt. You could also extract the files from that image using ISOBuster, and then use one of the Selfbooting apps (Selfboot or DSSBS Final) to create a new image (or burn it with CDRecord).

It sounds to me like the image may be corrupt (either a bad download, or a bad image-generation).
