Help with Jims NesterDC self boot...

Ok...i must be an idiot...i downloaded the file and opened it up and it says... Put ip.bin in \NESDC\
Put 1ST_READ_BIN. in \NESCD\
Put images in \NESDC\pics
Put ROMS in \NESDC\games
After you do everything hit enter.....ok.. so i put my roms in the games folder...... what exactly is an ip.bin and a 1ST_READ_BIN??? .. when i hit enter it says a record for ip.bin cannot be found...would you like to make one...i hit y and follow the instructions....i burn it....and i just get COASTERS....what am i doing wrong.....thanks guys and gals...i dont wanna make anymore COASTERS......

try downloading the nesterdc plain files and taking the ip.bin and 1st read.bin from that zip file and putting those files in the directory that the program told you to put them

I haven't tried NesterDC myself yet, but the IP.bin and 1st_read.bin are two files included with every Dreamcast emulator release. They should be in the zip file you downloaded for nester and you should be able to grab them from there.

Hope this helps, as I said I, haven't used nesterDC myself yet (I suppose I really should!)

Okay...i put the ip.bin and the 1st read bin in there......and now i burned it and it boots up but i get a fuzzy screen and then it stays on fuzzy blue writing that i cant read......and the VMU says Nester DC version 3....so i know its almost working....help...

Quick Question:
Did you look at the included ReadMe in the ZIP of the JimNESBoot tool?
It has directions on which files to get and such, try that.

WOW...thanks a lot UberJim.....i had the wrong files in there.....whooo hoooo...this rocks..../me thinks about having the wife make UberJim a cake...heh heh heh......this is so kewl...and all the games run perfect.....many thanks to the Nester DC people and UberJim....
