my friends dc is dead...

it doesnt boot up and the only sign off aliveness is the fan....god help me...no signal no nothing and i think i stuffed it up by opening it up and his using my dc...if i dont use dc for another week im going to die without virtua tennis 2...

Is the CD spinning? It could just be the A/V cable's not pushed all the way in...I've freaked myself out a few times like that....

sorry to bring back an old post, but i wanted to fix this dc up.

i just realised all the power is working like its reading the vmus and the fan is spinning but teh cd isnt and the light isnt lighting up etiher.

The problem could be causeed by aribbon not being properly connected to the controller board. Check all your connections and boot it again.
