Hey everyone,
As I hope I made clear. I'm a HUGE Dreamcast fan and I am interested in publishing any quality Dreamcast title that comes along. To put it nicely, the system that we have set up gives the GOAT Store a HUGE financial risk while immediately rewarding the developers. We won't be able to publish every game ever written, but we will definitely consider every project.
The way that I see it, the more games released the better it is for everyone. The more games released means the more interest in Dreamcast homebrews. More interest means more people buying and playing the games, and more people deciding to try programming for it. I think that every game released will really help the Dreamcast scene.
From the first time I ever tried out a Dreamcast homebrew game, I've been blown away and I've thought that the development community could essential blow back open the Dreamcast market.
I'm completely open to doing everything I can to keep the Dreamcast alive, and unfortunately I simply don't have the programming talent to do things on that side, so I'm eager to lend my hand on the other side. We're working really hard on a new GOAT Store site to help us present everything in the best possible manner, and I've been collecting Dreamcasts so we can have a ton of different 'Cast's showing off whatever is ready to be shown at the Midwest Gaming Classic. We're working extremely hard to put together something great, and from the people that I know of, there is some great stuff coming together.
Don't get discouraged! Sega might have deemed the Dreamcast dead but together we can make it the best-supported system ever!

I would be interested in entering too, but to be honest, I don't think my game would be complete by then. I have still quite a bit to do. My game is for my final year project which is due near the end of April.
I also think I would be disqualified due to one of the meshes I am using, which has not been created by me. If anyone is interested in looking at what I have created so far, you can take a peek here : http://studentweb.itsligo.ie/business/k ... index.html

Well, everything looks like it'll be fun to play.
I searched all my CDs from my not to recent back up of my Harddrive.. and found this one gif animation that I had used to show BlackAura... here is a sample of what could've been....
What ya'll think?
If me and BA do eventually make one (which sadly won't make the contest) the characters will be 3D and possibly Cell Shaded
(the reason they're not 3D is because the 3D renderer on my card blew... damn cheap components)

Really? I musta sent you an earlier one... my bad... On the later ones I had him walking (its harder than you'd think) and I had his legs pivoting while he attacked, and I also had a jump... I also had most of one of the girls done... argggghhhh. Maybe I should start using a MAC... at least when they crash my stuff is usually still on it....
